Casa GARÍ: LUXURY, ART, AND MODERNISM IN ARGENTONA
Nestled in the heart of Veïnat del Cros in Argentona, Casa Garí is a masterpiece of Catalan Modernism, radiating elegance, luxury, and exquisite artistic detail in every corner. Its history dates back to 1898, when a traditional rural farmhouse, Can Sirés, was transformed into a palatial residence for the banker Josep Garí i Cañas by the renowned architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch.

AN EXTRAORDINARY TRANSFORMATION
Completed in just nine months, the renovation reimagined the farmhouse as a magnificent square-plan building across three floors. Featuring a prominent square tower and circular corner turrets reminiscent of a medieval castle, Casa Garí immediately conveys the refinement of a golden era and the ambition of a project designed to leave a lasting mark.

SPACES DEFINED BY ARTISTRY
Entering through a neo-Gothic porch adorned with Solomonic columns and sgraffito details, guests are welcomed into a central courtyard bathed in light from a grand skylight, dominated by a majestic staircase. Inside, every room is a showcase of glazed ceramics, marble, wrought iron, and vibrant polychrome craftsmanship. Sculptures by the celebrated artist Eusebi Arnau breathe life into the estate, honoring its rural origins while paying homage to the performing arts—a reflection of the Garí family’s passion for culture.

THE PRIVATE THEATER
One of the estate’s most extraordinary features is its private theater. Seating 60 guests and built as an integral part of the modernist renovation, this intimate auditorium invites you to host exclusive events filled with artistic magic.

GARDENS OF CONTEMPLATION
The landscape, designed by Nicolau Maria Rubió i Tudurí, is a journey of beauty. Its pergolas, terraces, and sculptures by masters such as Clarà, Vallmitjana, Llimona, and Reynés offer a serene environment for reflection. At the heart of the grounds, a Baccarat glass pavilion featuring the figure of Hermes adds a sophisticated, mythological touch to the landscape.
A RESIDENCE WITH SOUL
Casa Garí is far more than a building; it is a tribute to art, history, and Catalan identity. From its grand architectural forms to the most delicate details, every element exudes culture and refinement. What began as a summer residence has become a timeless symbol and the legacy of a magnificent era.
